About
My Story
I'm an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW #117463) and therapist practicing under the supervision of Carol Masters-Salnave at Grounded Psych in Rockridge, CA. My work is grounded in a deep commitment to supporting people as they navigate the complexities of life with care and curiosity.
I bring experience from community mental health settings, where
I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan. I also have experience
and training working with families, people with disabilities, BIPOC,
LGBTQIA2S+ folks, and neurodiverse populations.
I honor each person as the expert of their own experience and believe
in our innate capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. Therapy with me is
collaborative and relational—we move at your pace, centering your
needs, values, and goals.

My practice is trauma-informed and rooted in somatic and relational
approaches. I draw from modalities such as Dialectical Behavior
Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic
therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness to support you
through a wide range of experiences: including life transitions,
trauma, relationships, identity exploration, chronic illness, depression,
grief, and anxiety.
Our work together is a space to resist isolation, reclaim your truth, and
move toward collective and personal liberation. I believe healing is not
just individual—it's deeply connected to the systems we live within. In
therapy, we can name and challenge the forces that cause harm, while also nurturing the parts of you that seek joy, connection, and possibility. At the core of my practice is a belief in your inherent worth—your value is not conditional, and you never have to earn the right to take up space or be fully yourself.

Land Acknowledgement & Antiracism Statement
I practice on Ohlone land (Oakland, CA), with deep respect for the original stewards of this territory. I acknowledge the ongoing presence, resilience, and sovereignty of Indigenous communities and commit to supporting decolonization in both thought and action.

My therapeutic work is rooted in anti-racism and social justice. I recognize that healing does not happen in isolation from the systems that shape our lives. In our work together, we can name and challenge oppression in all its forms—racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, colonialism—while cultivating spaces of care, connection, and liberation.

I am dedicated to providing affirming, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care that honors your full humanity. Everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard, and valued without condition.
